Lolly Jar Circus is a not for profit body and a charity that offers circus training to children and young people. It runs weekly classes in North Adelaide and Elizabeth East and outreach classes across the State, from Goolwa to Port Pirie, Kilburn to Coober Pedy. We teach tumbling, stilt-walking, aerial skills, juggling, hula hoop, plate spinning and much more. The activities are attractive and fun and participants love taking part, growing in self-esteem, confidence, fitness, strength, flexibility, social skills like taking turns, sharing and respecting personal space and making friends in a safe and supportive atmosphere.

the opportunity

The organisation is governed by a voluntary board and CEO. Board members should be passionate, organised and good "people persons".

They are expected to attend and actively take part in monthly meetings, contribute to good governance through the review of policies, keep the board on track to fulfil the goals of its Strategic Plan, represent the organisation at promotional and fundraising events, and cultivate relationships for the growth of the organisation.
